Las Vegas, NV
Edgewood Renewables
We partnered with Edgewood Renewables in developing a large-scale renewable fuels facility in the Las Vegas/North Las Vegas area, converting a former fuel terminal into a biorefinery capable of producing roughly 120 million gallons per year of renewable diesel and sustainable aviation fuel. The project will use a flexible mix of waste-based feedstocks such as used cooking oils, greases, and animal fats, with the goal of delivering low-carbon “drop-in” fuels that work seamlessly in existing transportation and aviation systems. In partnership with Plug Power, the facility is being engineered to integrate low-carbon hydrogen and renewable natural gas to further reduce lifecycle emissions, with projected carbon-reduction impacts equivalent to removing more than 200,000 cars from the road annually. Positioned strategically in the Las Vegas logistics corridor, the site aims to become a regional hub for clean fuels distribution while generating significant construction and long-term operational jobs.
